The area
Pikermi is a small town of Eastern Attica, on the outskirts of Athens. The community is located in the Northern Mesogia, built on the southeastern slopes of Mount Penteli and developed on the ancient marathon route. It is located 20 kilometers northeast of Athens and 4 kilometers east of the capital city of Pallini on the way to Rafina.
Waterfall in Ntrafi
The waterfall of Penteli or else Valanaris waterfall is a small secret of the area. The name Valanaris is said to be attributed to the oak forest that once dominated the surrounding hills. The waterfall is located in Ntrafi Pikermiou and is approximately 5-6 meters high.
